06-10-2022, 01:18 PM #1Difference between Flight Operations Letter and Operational Bulletin?
Has anyone asked Embraer what the difference is between a message transmitted via Flight Operations Letter and Operational Bulletin? Skimming the Subjects there seems to be no clear differentiation between the two.

06-14-2022, 10:57 AM #3Thanks for that clarification. As a follow-up, I wonder why some OB are incorporated and other are not in subsequent AFM/POH revisions. Out of the 36 Operation Bulletins for the P300, 17 (47%) are In-Effect, 11(30%) have been Incorporated, and 8 (22%) Cancelled. 94% of the In-Effect OBs are older than five years so doesn't seem they will be cancelled.

Hi. This is a good subject for our next webinar/conference. In general terms, an OB is issued anytime we need immediate attention. In other words, OBs contain safety related info or contain changes to approved procedures requiring immediate attention from the operators. FOLs, on the other hand, contain relevant fleet-wide information but do not require the same level of urgency.
