Emirates launches regional Phenom 100EV Charter Service

Emirates has launched a new on-demand regional charter service, for those looking to make short trips within the Gulf region from Dubai World Central Airport (DWC). Dubai World Central is Dubai’s “other” big airport, which could eventually become Emirates’ home. This new service is intended for those who value flexibility, convenience, privacy, and comfort, for flights to points in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and even within the United Arab Emirates.

It appears Emirates is using the fleet of 5 training Phenom 100EV they got a few years back.

When I worked at HondaJet, the UAE and Saudi market really wanted to see VLJ's used for domestic hops.... but it never panned out.

I'm excited to see it's finally happening as these areas become more conservative and environmentally conscientious.
