Friend of my is buying a Phenom 100 and is asking for if the lavatory curtain can be replaced to the door. Has anyone done this? Cost estimate?

06-14-2023, 07:12 PM #6The bigger issue other than the weight is that you will lose the back seats being able to be reclined. While it is a small recline, it is much more comfortable with the recline. My overall recommendation, unless you plan on using the lav frequently is to keep the curtain.

Solid lav door
My concern is less the 21 pounds than it would be in having passengers close that door the entire time inflight. The cabin noise from the wall coil would be reduced, but the cabin zone T-stat is located where that wall coil is. This could result in the cabin selected temp being skewed.
