06-02-2022, 07:11 AM #1APG Price Increase?
Anyone else hit with an unmentioned price increase from APG? Honestly it was the last place I expected a price increase from given the recent competition in the market from Foreflight, but more so just beside myself there was no messaging about the increase. Just my credit card getting charged more than the previous month. Their response was "blah blah blah in order to bring the best products blah blah"....So, probably time I start looking harder at Foreflight Runway performance.

06-12-2022, 05:46 AM #9(Username Protected), see the comments by (Username Protected) and (Username Protected) earlier in this thread. Another client of mine also recommends it. Maybe some effort to configure - but that’s a one time deal. I haven’t used it (yet) so not qualified to answer. If you make the switch, please report back!

06-12-2022, 06:25 AM #10I'm a ForeFlight convert from APG and have been using it for months. Weight & Balance, Field Performance, V Speeds, Trim, Engine Out procedures - everything you need in a great economical package (compared to APG!)

06-12-2022, 08:31 AM #12The key advantage for me is that is all integrated into one app, specially if you already do all your filing through ForeFlight. No need to toggle between two apps and re-enter data. ForeFlight also offers Runway Analysis for obstacles, which automatically runs in the background and limits MTOW if required.

06-14-2022, 07:34 AM #16Hmm, where is that page from?
This is the reply I got from Foreflight:
"Hi (Username Protected),
Gina here -- thank you for your email.
The price for the Runway Analysis for Phenom 100 is $1,200/yr per tail. Please let us know if you have any further questions -- we're happy to help!
Best,

*Edit: I think I found out the reason, seems to be an Individual vs Business pricing for some reason the Business pricing is twice as much. Time to drop the Business plan I guess. -

So if you pay for another pilot, that's an additional $600 + $360 for the Perf Plus for the 2nd pilot.

04-28-2023, 03:12 PM #18Well after close to a year of using them side by side, APG just made the decision a no brainer with their 10% increase after a 15% increase last year. We just put our cancelation in as Foreflight is just so much easier to use and integrates right with our current workflow now anyway. FYI, anyone looking to make the switch, apparently they require 60 days notice to cancel and will be prompt in sending you out a bill.
