11-12-2021, 11:36 AM #1New safety video series out
Quick note that the Citation Jet Pilots Safety and Education Foundation has released our fourth series of safety videos, you can find them here:
https://www.citationjetpilots.com/safety/videos
While filmed in Citation simulators, the material is just as relevant to Phenom pilots. One note on the "Ready for Recurrent" videos- we filmed the same scenarios in three sims: if you fly behind an NXi/ G1000 panel the "Ready for Recurrent 2.0 Mustang" will be most relevant, if you fly a G3000 aircraft the "Ready for Recurrent 2.0 M2/CJ3+" will be best.
Here's the list of new videos:
Deicing Primer
Dual Engine Flameouts
Living on the Edge
Operating as a Crew
Operations After Maintenance
Ready for Recurrent V2.0 CJ3
Ready for Recurrent C2.0 M2/CJ3+
Ready for Recurrent V2.0 Mustang

11-13-2021, 08:20 PM #3Just watched the Recurrent V2.0 Mustang and it was excellent. Much of it applies to the P100 except for the speeds - I guess I forgot how slow you could fly the Mustang vs the Phenom!

I know, it's pretty unique that way. I've flown twin turboprops that fly final much faster than the Mustang, 1000' ground roll is very common with the low landing speed you probably recall.
