    Luggage Mat

Hammer - I just replaced the floor portion covering of my baggage compartment after so many years (with the same material). I had carpet liners made for the interior - I suppose you could do the same for the baggage compartment.

Arizona Aircraft Interiors out of Falcon Field in Phoenix did a new mat that lays on top of the original for us. Looked and worked great, we got the flap that lays over the lip while loading for a little more protection.

Aerostar has a better-than-stock replacement. It's a thicker, vinyl-ish pad that doesn't feel like it will unstick or curl like the OEM version. I sold the plane a few months after it was installed so I can't confirm the performance long term, but I'm sure the Aerostar guys can speak to it.
