Garmin has announced the first retrofit install of Autoland, starting with King Airs. This shows a path for future retrofit installation on other platforms like the Phenom!

Initial approvals will be for King Air 200s that have the Garmin G1000 NXi integrated flight deck STC. After approval on the 200 series is secured, Garmin will pursue the nod on similarly equipped King Air 300s as well.

I think auto throttles have been an STC available for King Airs for awhile from IS&S and in those articles it looks like Garmin just developed their own, but I think that's the Phenom roadblock...is anyone developing auto throttles for Phenoms or do you think Garmin will be able to?
