iPad holder
Anyone have recommendations on an iPad holder for a normal size iPad to mount on the side window in the 100? I have seen some in videos, but can't make out what kind they are.

10-12-2020, 06:26 PM #2I personally keep my iPad Pro in my lap with a case that holds the Pencil as well, but like you mentioned I have also seen YouTube videos with the iPad in the window. The below screenshot I think it it is an iPad mini though, with a RAM holder.
I think it is this Universal Tablet holder from RAM...
... with this mount. They have holders for larger sized iPads as well.

11-09-2020, 02:32 PM #3I have been using the AboveTEK with my Ipad Mini for a couple years. The device has worked well, holds the Ipad firmly, and has never come loose during flight. I have it mounted in the front-lower corner of the side window and that puts the Ipad in a good location clear of the yoke and displays. It also keeps the mount clear of the window shade. Available on Amazon for $21.47.

01-31-2022, 09:03 AM #5Hello Everyone, wanted to provide a suggestion for iPad mounts that work well in the confined Phenom flight deck. Our company took delivery of our 300E just over a month ago and we have been pleased with the My Go Flight (MGF) Flex Suction and MGF Universal Cradle. Please find photos and applicable links below.

02-04-2022, 02:04 AM #6I use the Pivot case for an iPad mini. I think the full size iPad is a little large. The mini is basically the size of a jepp chart. Here’s the link for Pivot cases: https://flyboys.com/collections/pivot-cases
i use the suction mount in Phenom and Pilatus but the knee board mount when flying heli’s and Husky’s. -

First, thanks so much for taking the time to talk with me about the Phenom.
what apparatus do you use to hold the iPad in place?
is there some kind of strap available to keep the iPad on your lap/thigh? -

10-31-2024, 09:41 AM #11I'm using for 3 years a self made iPad holder for dash storage and easy access in flight. This is version 3 with a pen holder.
What do you need:
1. A 3D printer or a friend has one
2. This file for all 3D printers: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/hv6av...=annpeynn&dl=0 or specific for Bambu: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/677mb...=ykrakszy&dl=0
3. Material PETG-CF, any color (I used black). CF important as more heat resistant.
4. Silver vinyl sheet (sticks on top for heat restistance): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1 or equal
5. Velcro: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1 or equal
I can also ask my son to print some for a fee if someone has not the above. Send me a PM in this case.

11-01-2024, 06:18 AM #13All 10 and 11 inch, not for mini as such but will work. If for mini only it's easy to fix just to narrow the width in the 3D printer stl application (Tinkercad or equal).
