Hi everyone, we’re pleased to report that all properly equipped G3000 Phenom 300/Phenom 100 aircraft are now eligible to participate in FAA Data Comm En Route Service. The NOTAM limiting participation to approved trial participants has been rescinded.

G3000-equipped Phenom 300/Phenom 100 aircraft delivered after November 2019 with software v21.17/SW23 are eligible. FAA Data Comm requires an optional GDR 66 VHF radio and CPDLC – FAA Data Comm enablement option.

FAA Data Comm DCL (Departure Clearance) and En Route Service is provided by Garmin FltPlan.com for $499 per year.

While the InFO mentions a requirement to submit a En Route CPDLC Participation Form, this step is not required for aircraft subscribing to Garmin service. Garmin will submit this form to the FAA on behalf of service subscribers upon completion of the service activation request.

Additionally, the InFO recommends comparing the avionics in your aircraft against an acceptable list they have published. Your avionics are approved with the configuration mentioned above.
