Phenom 300 aircraft engine trend and perf telemetry.

Hello (Username Protected) and other Phenom enthusiasts:
Would like to speak with you or another of our technical gurus such as you that can lead us to the answer of a technical question. In short. A brand new 300 less than five months old.
The owner who is a very nice fellow wants to check engine trends by obtaining a downloads of the engines AFTER EACH FLIGHT. We know that Embraer has the capacity through P&W and the aircraft avionics to send all the engine performance to a ground station which records the data and it is analyzed.immediately and perhaps being able to be read by this very conscientious owner right away. After contacting Embraer and P&W, as incredulous as it sounds, no-one can provide a definite answer of whether such telemetry equipment is installed in the new 300E/EEs and if not what is required to be installed in his airplane to obtain engine perf read outs after each flight as he desires. Not sure but It is our understanding that the Praetor models and on have this capability as well as the E175 and larger models. In addition, there are a couple of 135 that their companies have opted to buy, or lease these capabilities. So, if anyone knows the requirements of. equipment and who handles such luxury it would be appreciated if you could pass this information to us.
Feel free to send it too my e mail address at. [email protected]. We will be grateful for any thoughts, suggestions or thoughts you might have regarding this endeavor.
Thanks very much and Fly Safe always.

(Username Protected) check the Embraer AHEAD. (Aircraft Health Analysis and Diagnostics) I am not sure if includes engine monitoring, but worth checking. There is a webinar on this theme tomorrow that you could register for.

Engine trend monitoring is done by a combination of AHEAD (from Embraer) and CAMP (from Camp Systems).
The CAMP trend monitoring is included in P&W ESP if you are subscribed to that.
    You pay Embraer for AHEAD.
AHEAD supports automatic upload of both airframe and engine data via the Garmin GSR 56 satphone connection (which is not necessarily standard, but is really common especially on a new plane). From AHEAD it will automatically flow to CAMP and you can login to CAMP to see engine trend data (they will also typically e-mail you weekly reports after analyst review).
There is some initial configuration of all this but if it's a new plane Embraer should be able to help you get it all working. Check with you field service rep if you don't know where to start.

And if you don't have the AHEAD Connect service that automatically transmits the data via Iridium (I don't), you can download the CMC data from the G3000 onto an SD Card and upload it AHEAD manually.

(Username Protected). I have been using www.flysto.net to analyze and record every Phenom flight I have flown since last September. If not familiar, the product is web enabled and free for now. The interface allows the data recoded to the SD card (which must be in the top slot during the flight) to see/compare numerous metrics.

While unless capturing data for a mentor or training customer, I do not dig into every datapoint, but the collection of values is impressive and the resultant from the same data sets is used for EHM.

Suggest having a look and feel free to reach out.

    Good luck,

    Bill

We would be glad to help on the receiving end to enable auto-upload of data for Phenoms. We have it for a number of other aircraft types already (e.g. TBM via P&W "fastbox"/DCTU). Air-Sync might also be an option. Again, we'd be very happy to help. (Username Protected) / FlySto.net
