Phenom 300 Tug recommendations for snow covered ramps

Am searching for Phenom 300 tug recommendations that work well on snow covered ramps. Have used a Lektro AP 8600-EZ in warmer climates and am happy overall, but curious as to its performance in snow, or other recommended tugs that are proven in snowy conditions.

Have you considered installing studded tires on the Lektro? They are available through the manufacturer. They can be used seasonally and work good unless you are dealing with drifts. Additionally, we park our tug on 4X8 sheets of plywood or a thick floor mat so our urethane floor is not damaged from the studs.

We recently purchased a Best Tug B18 w/high-lift, tundra tires, and snow chains. We are based in Grand Forks, ND. Our taxi-lane is often snow covered, or worse, packed and wind-polished snow. Our old tug regularly needed chains - so far (6 mo w/the B18) we haven't needed snow chains once. The B18 seems to distribute the weight and torque between the drive wheels better than our old tug (old GetJet gas). This was a terrible winter up here, so I think we put it through it's paces. I'm curious what it could go through if we did install the snow chains, ha! A big benefit of not needing the chains yet....less wear on the hangar floor. The B18 is a great tug. Expensive, but worth it.
