    Control panel backlighting

    Has anyone ever noticed when flying at night if you can see the power lever panel backlight so you can see for example cont climb, max cruise, etc? I have a 2012 300 and ours doesn’t…..perhaps the older models don’t?

    I think the easiest is the check EIS indication on the MFD.

    Yes but just curious if the horizontal power lever panel lights up. I don’t see anything in mx manuals. Joe Leach informed me he didn’t see them light up on a night flight so because he flies these often, it has led me down the road to wonder if this was accurate or not…

    I checked on a recent night flight, and yes the throttle quadrant lights up (2011 model).
