HondaJet adds Garmin Autoland & Autothrottle

Honda is adding autoland and autothrottles to the HondaJet II, lets hope Embraer eventally catches up. Autoland is one of the few features that would make me seriously consider buying a new plane, primarily for the passengar comfort with single pilot ops.

Definitely makes the HondaJet 2600 even more compelling (if that ever gets off the ground).

How does their cabin size relate to Phenoms?

I find the HondaJet cabin to be much worse than the Phenom, but the new HondaJet 2600 is supposed to be more Phenom-like. Others disagree. There is a thread right now on COPA where some people prefer it to the Phenom.

I guess go sit in one yourself and see.

I agree with (Username Protected) that it would encourage me to buy a new plane. Amazing safety feature.
Cabin, Hondajet is very comparable in size to the Phenom 100 but much quieter. when I flew the Hondajet, i could hear the conversation in the back of the cabin. good comparison below.
