P300 G1000NXi Start up Bug - Pitch Trim Indicator

Saw a new bug the other day. On power up the G1000NXi did not show the pitch trim indicator (just a black black box where it should be on the MFD). I switched to reversionary mode and the pitch trim setting were visible and then back to normal mode and they were back on the MFD.

Has anyone else seen this in the G1000NXi?

    Thanks,

(Username Protected) - I have not seen that. Maybe one the FCE boxes had an issue on initialization?

I have also seen this. Didn't know switching to reversionary mode clears it. I had to shut down and reboot. Thank you!

We have also seen this. Switching to backup pitch trim didn't get the indication back on the NXi, but a power cycle/reboot did fix the display -- temporarily. I think it was 2-3 flights after that we had a hard fail of TAC 1 (controls primary pitch trim if I recall correctly). Box had to be replaced. I don't know if these were related or not for sure, but that's been my presumption.

I have found that simply re-entering the Engine Takeoff Data solves the problem.

Before you replace a unit have your DOM check the cannon plug in the rudder for moisture
