09-10-2022, 04:37 PM #14Next (Username Protected) Norton gave a detailed presentation on Phenom 100/300 accidents, with a deep look at Runway Excursions. We are going to turn this presentation into a webinar in the near future.
The big takeaway was that if the runway is wet and non-grooved, always use Contaminated landing numbers.

09-11-2022, 05:37 PM #19(Username Protected) and (Username Protected):
Thanks for putting together a fabulous Phenom Pilots weekend event in Newport Beach. The presentations on Saturday morning were both informative and fun.
My favorite presentation was the Phenom 300 camera ship. Kinda hard to believe that a P300 owner like us was willing to take the risk to get a major STC done on his personal P300 for a never-done-before P300 modification. Even harder to believe that he did it without a prior commitment from Paramount Pictures for the Top Gun aerial filming work. His descriptions of piloting the airplane to get the aerial film shots for the movie was almost unbelievable to me.
Great selection on the Balboa Bay Hotel —- the location, accommodations, and food were all first class all the way.
Looking forward to the next Phenom Pilots Event

09-11-2022, 11:16 PM #20Wonderful event, thanks for putting this together (Username Protected) and (Username Protected). I was only able to be in town for the speaker series on Saturday, but the safety content across multiple presentations was worth it. Hopefully I can make the full weekend next year to meet everyone else!
