    RAM AIR FAIL Message

During two recent flights, I experienced a RAM AIR FAIL EAP2-14. After scrambling for "The Book," I learned that I only need to LAND IMMEDIATE if I also have a BLEED VALVE FAIL message. So, I continued the flight. After about 15 minutes, the RAM AIR FAIL message extinguished. I did more research after landing to learn that the message means that the Forward Emergency Ram Air Valve Failed Closed. But I'm still left with a few questions:

    1. The heat exchangers are cooled by RAM AIR (in flight) or by the ground cooling fan (on the ground). Cockpit temperatures rose to 80 degrees F before cooling down. Does RAM AIR FAIL also mean that there is no RAM AIR for condenser cooling?
    2. When the RAM AIR FAIL message extinguished, did the problem resolve itself, or did some timer on the advisory alert expire?

Has anyone experienced something similar, and if so, what was the resolution?

    Regards.
