    GDL 69 in EU

    Hi, all!

I see that GDL 69 works with SiriusXM network. As I understand SiriusXM doesn't have a coverage outside the US and Canada.
Is there an option for Phenom 100 to receive satellite weather in Europe? Probably something different from GDL 69?

    Thank you!

Is it authorised for installation to Phenom 100?

It is a factory option, not sure if it can be installed via a SB. Requires the GSR 56 box and Iridium antenna.

Another option is the Iridium option Michael wrote about here:

    - Iridium Go (buy in US, flat rate subscription) and Golze App/subscription (https://www.ing-golze.de/iridiumgo.jsp) ) This gives you Weather in Foreflight (similar to ADS-B globally), Satellite phone calls, text, position tracking, email. I highly recommend this setup, even for flying in US!

This option is probably better for me, thanks!
