    Foreflight Weight & Balance Configuration

    Hello Guys,

I'm having a little of a hard time setting up the W&B on Foreflight for the 300. My configuration is 7 seats no belted lav. Can someone send me a photo of your configurations settings on the app.

    Thanks!

Make sure to check if you have the same weight limitations, there is a SB which increases the MTOW and changes the envelope.

This is likely a silly question, but wanted to validate what I see here. My aircraft has a BEW of 11355 and an arm of 300.22. Foreflight is looking for me to convert from inches to %MAC since that is what is it trying to output. Therefore, I need to use the %MAC calc on my BEW arm correct?

    (300.22 - 264.57) x 100
    -------------------------------- = 44.17
    80.71

It all makes foreflight happy as entering 300.22 gives errors. I thought I would just document my thoughts in case others get stumped. I think APG did this automatically when I used them previously and I never had to convert for them.

Also - does it show a takeoff %MAC totaled somewhere other than looking at the envelope picture?

Too tired to do the math but I can answer this question. Yes on the Takeoff tab.

FYI, if you toggle OFF the Use %MAC switch, then enter/check all your arms in inches, then toggle the %MAC switch back ON, it will auto-covert everything to %MAC for you. No need for the math.

More > Aircraft > Your tail number > scroll mid page to your W&B setup entry (or tap green "Add W&B Profile" if not setup) > Scroll to the very bottom to see the %MAC toggle.

By default, it is toggled OFF, which allows you to use/enter all stations arms in inches, then toggle it ON when done to have it calculate takeoff trim, which is shown on your runway analysis takeoff calculation page.
