    Life Jackets

Strangely the life jackets in my new-to-me P300 are not secured under the passenger seats. In my P100 the life jackets were held in a mesh under each seat. Having recently picked up my P300 out of the 10Y c-check the life jackets were simply sitting on the floor. Needless to say they end up sliding to the front or rear of the airplane. I looked under the seats and found no sign of the mesh I had in the P100.

How are your life jackets secured under the passenger seats?

I think they're secured the same way. They may have been left out because they have a 10 year life and you need to service/replace them. Mine are actually due 6 months before the aircraft's 10 year service because of the manufacturing date on them.

Lift up the cusion and on the forward side, there should be a box they slide in. Some seats have a panel on the fwd side that comes off and exposes the box, and I believe a few aircraft's dont have spots for them at all.
