I'm very surprised, have not heard before 91 ops not needed. What you saying you made a 10y without landing gear overhaul?

Yes. For part 91 ops inspections are mandatory, overhauls are only a recommendation. There are a lot of FAA legal consul interpretations in regards to this matter. I'm attaching one of them.
Any manufacturer will tell you it is mandatory all day long, but they have no regulating authority. FAA does.

I believe you're misinterpreting the vast majority of that letter. Yes, there is no regulatory requirement to perform or incorporate an SB. However, the gear inspection is clearly a scheduled maintenance requirement. Even the letter states that its "axiomatic that defects found during inspection must be corrected." The AMM and SMR lists all the gear components as inspections with a 120 month requirement and not SB's. To inspect, they have to be removed and opened up to see if anything has deteriorated. I've put this situation and letter in front of an A&P plus an aircraft broker and they're nowhere near the side of how you read this.

Bent, in your opinion jet engine overhaul is legally required?
